Muskuloskeletal and soft tissue pain affects around 85% of people within the UK at some stage of their life. MUI offers an expert assessment with a consultant radiologist to determine an accurate diagnosis before an appropriate treatment is carried out. The consultant will take a full history of your complaint and symptoms. They will then carry out an ultrasound scan of the affected area to ensure that the right area is located before the treatment is carried out. Treatment options will be thoroughly discussed and once an agreement has been made, this will be carried out quickly and effectively. Interventions are performed under ultrasound- guidance for improved accuracy and safety.
